Choir of the Sound Rose Scholarship
During our tribute to American composers concert series on March 5th and 6th, Choir of the Sound carried on its annual tradition of recognizing a couple of graduating seniors from the local area high schools. We believe strongly that singing and producing wonderful music is a life-long endeavor and want to encourage students to continue this pursuit long after high school.
Each student applicant was nominated by their high school choir director and completed an essay on what singing in a choir meant to them. This year we were pleased to present two $1,000 scholarships to John Vogel of Lynnwood High School and Lauren Sweeten of Shorewood High School. Congratulations to both John and Lauren!

Tickets: $2.50 each, obtainable through any Choir of the Sound member, and a portion of this raffle will help fund the Rose Award, a $1000 academic scholarship presented to graduating high school music students presented annually by Choir of the Sound. Winners will be notified, and need not be present to win - but why would you possibly want to miss a COTS concert?
