The winter holidays are a time for nostalgia and tradition; for music and community; for making new memories and revisiting old ones. Join Choir of the Sound on a trip down memory lane as we revisit the best holiday music and dances from our first 50 years, such as “Hot Chocolate” from The Polar Express, Eric Whitacre’s “Lux Arumque,” the Sephardic Hanukkah song “Ocho Kandelikas,” and “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.” We’ll also introduce you to some new favorites, including Andrew Bird’s “Alabaster,” Susan LaBarr’s “Orion,” and the Filipino carol “Ang Pasko ay Sumapit.” Susan LaBarr’s “Orion,” and the Filipino carol “Ang Pasko ay Sumapit.”
